Job Description

We are seeking an Automotive Collision Repair Technician to join our team. The Auto Body Technician is responsible for full auto body work, repairing all types of vehicles to the highest quality standard in a production type of environment.
Our technicians repair dents and damages, align repairs and/or replace damaged structural or mechanical parts and components. The incumbent must understand structural and non-structural panel replacement, uni-body and full-frame repairs.
About You
- Provincially recognized Auto Body Collision Repair License – 310B (Journeyman/Red Seal)
- 3 years previous industry related (body shop) experience
- Gold/Platinum I-car certified (preferred, not required)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Able to work full-time in a physically demanding role (heavy lifting up to 70lbs.)
- Willing to relocate to London, ON
Your Experience
- Previous industry experience or equivalent
Your Education
- Educational background related to the automotive industry is an asset
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Thoroughly examine collision damage
- Remove and replace damaged vehicle panels and parts including frame components
- Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to a vehicle
- Assess and repair structural components of a vehicle
- Repair damaged panels and frame components
- Hammer out dents, buckles and defects
- File, grind and sand body surfaces that are repaired
- Weld replacement panels
- Inspect repaired vehicles
- Maintain clean working area
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Highlights
Salary – $100,000 – 145,000 annually
