ProColor Collision Wheaton Red Deer is looking for an experienced, forward-thinking Auto Body Shop Manager to take our busy, high-performing operation to the next level.
About the Role
As our Auto Body Shop Manager, you’ll be responsible for the overall success of a modern, fully equipped collision repair facility. You’ll manage daily operations, drive customer and insurer satisfaction, and lead the continued growth of both our team and our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Development:
Build, lead, and inspire a team of technicians, painters, estimators, and support staff. Recruit and train top talent, foster accountability, and create a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Business Growth:
Develop and execute strategies to expand the shop’s customer base, strengthen fleet relationships, and grow our referral business through reputation, service quality, and consistency.
- Insurance & Partner Relations:
Maintain and grow positive relationships with insurance partners. Meet and exceed insurer KPIs to maximize referral volume and business potential.
- Operational Management:
Oversee all aspects of production, from estimating to delivery. Ensure efficiency, profitability, and quality through strong process management, scheduling, and workflow optimization.
- Customer Satisfaction:
Ensure every repair meets the highest standards for safety, quality, and appearance. Handle customer concerns with professionalism and care, maintaining the trust that keeps Wheaton Chevrolet a top-rated name in Red Deer.
- Financial & Performance Oversight:
Monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and implement continuous improvements that boost throughput and profitability.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience managing a collision repair facility or large production team
- Proven ability to grow business volume and maintain key insurance and fleet partnerships
- Deep understanding of insurance estimating systems (Mitchell, Audatex, CCC)
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Red Seal certification or relevant technical background (asset)
- A results-driven, customer-first approach
